Another christmas card in traditional colors

Hi there lovelys
How are you all doing? I hope you´re fine :)
Here in Sweden it´s winter for real now ;) Today the weather has been a bit like a snowblizzard and it´s freezing cold..I kind of like it though, I think it´s much better than the heavy raining our winters usually consists of. But..I wouldn´t want to get behind the wheels right now so I´m lucky to be working close to home ;)
Here´s another christmas card from me :) I haven´t been much for x-mas cards in the traditional colors before but I feel diffrent now that I found these stunning patterned papers from Webster´s pages at Pema. They are just amazing :) I adore red cards when I see them at other blogs but I have never considered my self to make good looking cards in red. With these papers I feel a bit diffrent :) I´m at least satisfied ;)
This time my card features a lovely little Tilda. She´s getting ready for Lucia. :)

Now I´m off to relax a little in front of the tv with some murderer..Doesn´t that sound strange? CSI as relaxation? Well, it works for me ;) Love everything crime related - on tv and when I´m reading that is!! NOT in real life ;)

Thank´s for all of your lovely comments I´m getting on my work :) Make´s my day :)

My very first Gurlee Girl ♥

Update 11/12 2010

This card was picked by the dt as second place winner :) Thank´s a lot for picking my card!

Hi everybody!

TGIF!!

Today I´d like to showcase my very first card featuring a stamp from Gurlee Girl! When I first laid eyes on them I was blown away and I promise you, there will be lots of cards with these extreamly beautiful motives. They are illustrated by one of my fellow dt members at WOJ Challenges, namely Chelsea. She does the most wonderful cards and I sure wasn´t surprised when I found out she´s the maker of these adorable images :) Besides that Chelsea has a very warm and kind personality and that doesn´t make it harder to take the decision to order some ;)
I´m also entering this card in the CLP Challenge Blog. Chelsea has the most wonderful sketch for us to play with and I had so much fun with it :) And I promise you the dt´s has made the most amazing interpretations for us to inspire from. So head on over :)

Isn´t she just the sweetest thing? I think Cammy has a great likeness with my own daughter Signe.

Mummys girl

I´d like to wish you all a great weekend :) I´m going to a scrapevent tomorrow and I´m really loking forward to it :) I got some new wonderful christmas stamps from Papilio in my mailbox yesterday and I just know I´ll have a blast working with them :)

GDT call Whiff of joy: Joy to the world

Hi there everyone :)
I hope youre all having a splendid day :) Right now I´m at home on my luchbreal posting this. My hubby is at home with our daughter who is sick. I waned to photograph this card in daylight and I can´t manage that when I´m off for today. Wintertime has arrived in Sweden, Scania, so it´s dark when I leave home and dark when I come home as well. And...today it´s the very last day to enter Katharina´s guest dt call, wouldn´t want to miss this for the world!

To enter all you have to do is spread the word about this lovely opportunity and follow Katharinas sketch above. :) And of ourse you need to upload your project at Katharinas blog and link back to you. So now I have to run back to work again ;)
Hope you like my card and maybe comment on it ;)

Flying Tilda

I made this joy fold card last weekend when I was preparing for the Magnolia course I held at Stämpelgården today. I
had so much fun! I´ll definatly do it again if anyone asks me and I got at least as much inspiration as the girls who participated (at least I hope they were ;)). I´ll love the feeling I get from meeting other crafters, it´s amazing :)
I have used an image from Magnolia and I colored her with distressers on 300 g watercolorpaper. She´s so gorgoues and I love the fact she´s a bit smaller than they usually are so she fits perfectly in to most spellies or Nellie´s.
I hope you all have enjoyed your saturday!

♪♫♪ I´m so lucky, lucky, lucky, lucky...♪♫♪

I have some greeeeaaaat news!
Do you remember the hit by Kylie Minouge ( a nice blast from the past ;)) where she declares she´s the happiest girl in the world? It´s been on my mind all day long ;) I have found a very treasured friend in blogland a few months ago from Australia also named Kylie. She is the sweetest thing and she creates pure wonders :) Besides that she made me a very lucky girl yesterday when I recieved an email from her inviting me to contribute to The Fuzzy Wuzzy Challenges. It´s an honour for me so of course I said yes!
I love the idea behind the blog: to enter you have to create a card/project that features an animal. The critter/animal has to be in focus! Isn´t that just fab?
We used to own a flatcoated retriever called Beckham, we miss him dearly and we will probably get a new one when Signe is a bit older :) Both me and my hubby has a big love for animals so it suits like a glove ;)
Right now Kylie and the rest of the talanted ladies have a mid way reminder and you can still enter the current challenge with the theme: seasonal projects. Make a card or project typical for summer, fall, spring or winter and enter :) The prizes you can win is just fab! :) That´s a reason good as any to participate!
Thank´s for inviting me Kylie and the rest of the talanted dt for believing in me!
And I´ve talked a lot about my new teamies, haven´t I? Here they are:
Ingrid, Kellie, Julia, Marley, Stephanne, Zoe ,Sue and Kelly

So hop on over and join us!

The Fuzzy Wuzzy Challenges

Yay! I´m a fuzzy wuzzy crafter :)

Altered paperbag for Fathers day ♥

Good evening to you all :)
I´m so happy to see you paid me a visit today :) And I´m so grateful for all the lovely words you leave behind before you go :)

I have altered this paperbag for my father. On sunday it´s fathers day here in Sweden. I think it´s not the same date all over the world because I have seen Fathers day projects on diffrent blogs this spring. I didn´t feel like making a card for him this time and I bought these paperbags when I was at Magnolias store in Borås this summer and I havn´t gotten around to use them before so I thought it would be a great present for him. I´m going to fill the paperbag with goodies and some lotterytickets. We celebrate it but not a lot. I still have one Fathers day project left to make. For my hubby from my little girl. I will craft it with my favourite girl tomorrow afternoon.
The image is featuring the only really cute mouse in the world (If I saw a mouse IRL I think my heart would stop ;) ;)) namely Henri Maus from Whiff Of Joy illustraed by Alison Acton. I have fallen for this little guy - really hard ;) I colored him with distresser on 300 g watercolorpaper. The sentiment says: "To my dad" and comes from Magnolia. So does the borderpunch called Tildas swedish lace. The patterned paper is from Prima and the same goes for the very beautiful big green flower. I used a circle die from Spellies to cut out the image, behind it is a shape very similar to the Spellie die Lacey circles but it´s actually a Nellie Snellen die. The beautiful brad with the pearl is from Whiff of joy and you can find them here. The filmstrip ribbon comes from Tim Holtz.

DT Papilio: Fairy Penny

Hi again :)
Today I´d like to share another easel card with you, I guess they are my new thing, can´t seem to stop doing them ;)  They are so simple to fold and I like the thought of them standing up easy :)
This card is a made on a order my by one of my hubbies coworkers for his wife on her birthday :) Her name is Helena. I didn´t get any special wishes so I made it look real me - like and used a lot of my fav papers, colors and embellies. And this stamp made by Malin, the owner and illustrator of Papilio Stamps, just makes me sigh everytime I lay my eyes on her. She is sooooo beautiful :) Fairy Penny is a real joy to ink as well. Love that romantic toutch the fairy collection has :) Decided to make her dress green and then the other colors just came automatically ;)

Today I´m feeling really tired, it´s been a while since I worked now ;) I´m going to have a lazy night and just relax :) There´s a good movie showing in Sweden tonight :) With Denzel Washington, it´s a thriller. Isn´t Denzel THE most talanted actor in the world? At least he´s one of them! Love my thriller´s and the feeling of not knowing who the murderer is until the very end.

I´m feeling a bit spooked...today´s card has the theme of Halloween! All stamps used comes from Magnolias "So spooky" collection from 2009. I think little Bat Tilda is supercute :)

DT WOJ Challenges #91: Christmas cards

Hi everyone :)
I hope you are all doing just fine?
I´m thrilled to be back in blogland again after a very relaxing, sunburtsting week in Hurghada, Egypt. :) I really love summer and sun so I´ve been loading my batteries to a high level and I actually think I might be able to cope another looong rainy / snowy autumn/ winter. ;) We have been there before (it´s our third time) so we have done all of the excursions you can miss out on. I don´t think I got up from my sunbed many times ;) (If you don´t count the times I tried to keep up with Signe ;)) I think I really needed to be lazy for a little while ;) My dad is very happy about the giftset I made him for his birthday :) :)
Well, well enough about me.
Time for another challenge at Whiff of Joy!! Sometimes I still have to pinch my arm to believe I´m actually part of such a stunning team, creating with beautiful stamps and embellies like the ones Katharina and her fab designers stock for us all to play with :) Most of you know by now I´m not to fond of autumn and winter time but I just love christmas! I decided not to be fashionably late this year so the challenge for the upcoming two weeks suits me like a glove :) We´d like you all to create some christmas cards! And hey! I doubt you´ve missed out on the latest news? Well.... if you like romantic stamps like me (I´m a sucker for those ;)) you have to check the new release! Some utterly lovely angels illustrated by Elisabeth Bell.
I choose to make my christmas card quite traditional. It´s an easel card. The patterned papers comes from Websters Pages. I used this cute image of Henri and his girlfriend Betty on candy cane.
It´s so much fun checking out your work after linking it :) Me and my fellow dt members get a lot of inspiration from you all :) So please grab your gear and join us :)
And last but certainly not least. Don´t forget to take a look the stunning work made by my lovely dt colleges.
Have a great day!
