LD Challenges #8: Fall/Halloween

Time sure flies by, it´s already time for a new amazing challenge with us at Little Darlings and not only that! Today is release day for the new FALL / HALLOWEEN collection! So before I tell you more about the theme of this fortnights challenge I encourage you all to check out the Love to stamp store to get hold of your very own Little Darlings. And the theme is of course fall / halloween projects. You do not have to use Little Darlings images to join in our challenge but we would love to see what you would make of these sweethearts.

I have used an image called Tricks or treats and I LOVE this cute little witch, she looks a bit tricky indeed, I bet the treat in the big saucepan ;) He,he,he!
Ince again I have choosen the twisted easel fold. The spiderweb is made with a PATP set from MS. The cat and dream tag are made with Magnoliadies. The lush black orchids, the patterned papers and the sentiment are also Magnolias. I have coloured with my Copics. As usual I have added loads of stickles star dust to the image.

Found this amazing sketch on the Bunny Zoe´s Monthly challenge blog, I loved working with it. It´s a keeper.

Other challenges I´d like to enter with this card:
Paperplay time: Halloween
KB Cute mondays: Halloween

Thank you so much for looking

DOC #9: HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Time for a new challenge over at this lovely place

with me and the rest of the Deep ocean family.

If you wan´t to join us this fortnight, we want to see your create something keeping our BIRTHDAY theme in mind. Isn´t that a lovely and very simple challenge? Everybody can join us so head on over to the blog to see the stunning creations by the rest of the team here and then grab your birthday gear and celebrate with us.

I have made a birthday card for somebody that is very important to me. You probably all know her to, or at least your followers of her amazing blog because otherwise you would just be stupid ;) He, he, he! LOL
Her name is Jane and just so happens she is also a dt for DOC ;)
I hope this has reached her home by now otherwise the surprise is spoilt but I think she´ll like it anyways. So Tilda and Tilda is cheering her on. I maked them togheter and it was hard to know which one I wanted in front of the other because they are eqaully lush don´t you think? As it turns out it came down to the balloon ;) It wouldn´t have shown if it was the other way around so not that a tough choice after all ;) They are both coloured with my di´s (Boy, I love em! Have you seen the new limited edition with fall colours?? Have to have them! ;)) on 300 g watercolourpaper.
The patterned papers are from a new Prima line called Pixie Glen and for a change we were´nt the last to have them in stock here in Sweden. ;) They arrived shortly after CHA in USA! Great me thinks! They are sooo my new fav paper pad.
The flowers are all WOC and I have added loads of stickles star dust to the images and a little here an there too ;) The banner is made from my spellbinder dies. Sentiment and ribbon is bought at the Magnolia store in Borås and the same goes for that pretty little bow. Alphabets stickers from Making memories. Corner adornments from Melissa Frances.

I have followed the new AWESOME sketch over at Sketch saturday (waving like crazy to the stunning ladies of the design team, had such a blast guesting them this summer ;))
Here´s what it looks like:

pretty lush ha?

Day three of Little Darlings sneak peeks: Throwing leaves

Welcome to day three of the Love to stamp sneak peek´s on the new Little Darlings Halloween / fall release. They will be available in the store on wednesday :) I bet you can´t wait! ;)

My card for today features a cute little girly that really knows how to best enjoy fall. I remember doing this myself as a kiddo! Anyone else?

I have used dp´s from Basic Grey, a paper pas called "Indian summer" that was released about two years ago. She is inked with Copics and the stars are made from grungboard by TH. Firstly I covered them in Distress crackle paint tea dye and the splinked them with three diffrent glitters from Martha Stewart´s holiday pack. All edges has been sewn. The big lush and very autumny flower is from Prima and the rest comes from WOC. The same goes for the seam binding. Lace is from a swedish scrapstore: Lektyg och hantverk.

I´ll be back with more lovely Little Darlings stamps on wednesday when a brand new challenge goes live. You should join in the current one, we are looking for a guest designer! So grab your chance :)

If you´re looking for my MDUC dt post, scroll down a bit - thanks!

MDUC #115: Fancy Folds and KAOS award

Time for another great challenge with us at Magnolia Down Under challenges and this week we would love to see you create something using a FANCY FOLD.
I made a princess twisted easel card. This ballerina Tilda is my absolute fav Magnolia stamp - all time!
I know I always say you shouldn´t miss out on the wonderful creations made by my lovely teamies and this time is no diffrent: the girls has outdone themselfves again! Take a look here. You are in for some serious inspiration :)

A while ago (I´m ashamed to say it´s been weeks now...:( ) I recieved a lovely card in my mailbox and it´s from my very talanted friend, also named Louise. It was not only amazingly crafted it was also a KAOS award. (KAOS= Kreativa Artister med Otrolig Skaparglädje) I´m pretty sure this is an award that doesn´t exist internationally - YET ;) I happen to know I was lucky enough to recieve another one this week and when I´ll be sending those out I will send it to some peeps I adore abroad. Be patience, I won´t be ready with them all until next year with the pace I´m having ;) So in english I think they would be called something like CAIC = Creative Artists with an Incredible joy for Crafting. Now please check out Louise´s lovely card:

Now I need to tell you some more about the KAOS award. If you´re lucky enough to recieve one you are to send it onto three crafters that inspires and impresses you. The creation you pass on are supposed to reflect your own personal style and it is originally supposed to be 10*15 cm but I hardly EVER do those so I couldn´t do that AND create a card that reflects me ;) So I´ll be making three totally diffrent creations. You are also supposed to blog them all in the same post but ´knowing how busy I am right now I will do them one by one or I will never get to it ;) So I´m combining a challenge dt card with a kaos award - the best of two worlds ;)
You are also supposed to write a little bit of why you want to send your KAOS award to that specific person. My first one I made to a lady I admire a lot! I have been visiting Kamilla ´s blog on a regular basis ever since I started out with cardmaking in 2009. She has an amazing personal style and I feel there is really nothing she couldn´t create. She loves to try out new things and she often creates awesome designs that loads of people seems to love and then ask her to make a tutorial on ;) So I have followed them on numerous occasions.
Kamilla, please send me your home adress to my email: louise.fraenell@hotmail.se and I will send you your Kaos award card in an instant. I hope you will love it as much as I do :) We have one thing in common (well, of course you can imagine we got more than one but...) and that is we both LOVE the colour PINK. I can tell you without liying I will have a hard time saying bye bye to this pink card :)

So I´m aware I´m not totally playing this by the rules but I hope I´m excused?? ;)

I also want to enter these challenges:

Addicted to stamps - stitching
Anything goes - anything goes

Thank you so much for looking today :)
If you made it all the way here I´m grateful ;)

Little Darlings: A snappy dresser sneak peek

Hi everybody!
I´m so proud and happy to showcase this little adorable guy from the Love to stamp ´s own brand Little Darlings, he´s name is Snappy dresser. Isn´t that just the perfect name? I think he´s so cute and I knew I wanted to create something featuring this little guy right away.
This is another trick or treat bag suitable for a candy gift on Halloween.
Snappy dresser is inked with Copics.
Papers are from a paper pad by Basic Grey that was released two years ago. The fence is a Magnolia Doo Hickey die. Alphabeth stickers from MME and the window in the bag is cut out using nestibilities circles die from Spellbinders. I made a frame with the nestibilities scalloped circles die too.

It´s been a while since my last posting now. It´s a wee bit funny because all of my dt work is concentrated around the middle weeks of the month. Well, in september that has been a good thing because I have been able to focus on my studies. It´s still a bit challenging planning around to be able to do everything but I feel I´m getting there ;)
How are you?

If anyone has missed me I can tell you I´ll be back already tonight with my posting for Magnolia Down Under. Hope to see you then!

Thank´s for looking!

To Signes buddy Vidar on his 4th birthday

Time for my daughter Signe to go to another birthday party today. The bithdayboy is celebrating his 4th birthday and is named is Vidar. They know eachother from daycare. He is so sweet and totally into superheroes. The invitation showed a picture of him as Spiderman and said the party had a costume theme. Signe and her best friend, Stella, immediately wanted to dress up as little princesses. I just have to show you a pic of our adorable little princess:

Signe 4 years old

So of course the matching birthdaycard had to be made in superherostyle ;) I have been longing to ink up this cute to the boot little Edwin from the "The winner takes it all" collection from Magnolia. It was part of the summerkit and so was the moon and the rocket! Perfect occasion, right?
The papers are from SassaFrass lass that I bought at the Maggie store in Borås this summer. I have struggled to keep this "simple" without adding to many embellies - you know me, I usually throw on loads of thingys to my creations. Instead of flowers I decided to go with some grungeboard stars from TH that I firstly painted with distress ink Picket fence crackle paint and the added German glass glitter from WOC. The letters are a combination of two diffrent Thickers styles. I just couldn´t keep out of my ribbon drawer though...I ended up with this lush blue ribbon. It was a most treasured gift from my lovely and utterly talanted friend Alberto. Thank´s! I lurv it :)
Edwin is inked with distressers on 300g watercolour paper.

At the Addicted to stamps challenge blog they want to see creations featuring stitching this week. Great challenge ha?

Thank you so much for visiting me today!
Great to see you here :)

Tickled pink Pinkette preview week: meet little Christmas Pinkette Coraline

Hi sweeties!
This is sadly my last posting as a dt for Tickled pink stamps. I have made the decision to step down from my spot this month. Going back to Uni ment less time at my craft desk so I had to give one of my positions up. I have been with them for more than eight months now so I felt that was the way to go :)
I have enjoyed every moment as a {PINK}ette and I´m so thankful towards Kellie and the rest of the ladies on the smashing team for having me so long :)

Today we are showcasing little christmas Coraline. Isn´t she the sweetest thing? She is my fav Pinkette so I was very happy to see her return in this collection :)
I have used papers from Maja Design and coloured her with my di´s. The amazing white roseribbon is a gift from my awesome friend Dena. Thank´s hunni :)
Smuttred the big snowflake with stickles star dust and made the snowflak with a die from Spellbinders.

Thank´s for looking!

Tilda is waving bye bye to the summer - in Copics

Hi everybody!
I´d like to show you this card I made today just having a play :)
I realized that summer is officially over here in Sweden and that I hadn´t used this sweet laying Tilda that has a very summery feel to her. Ever since I got her I have pictured her togheter with this scenestamp, also from Magnolia. I´m still praticing with my Copics and I have used them here. I´m still not used to how they get a much more vibrant look than my di´s and is harder to work a shabby feel with (at least I think so now) and I was very satisfied with the result until I tried adding some shadow in the gras undernieth her...My God, that looks hiddeous but I´m thinking I had to use it since it took me so long to finish it. ;) So I paired her up with some papers from 3ndy Papir and flowers from WOC. I have also used the Swedish lace die from Magnolia around the image. The sentiment is also from Magnolia. Ribbon from Panduro.

Thank you so much for looking :)

TPS Pinkette Christmas Preview week: meet little Faith

Need someboy to sing you christmas carols? Look at this adorable little Pinkette from Tickled pink stamps! Her name is Faith and luckily she has been a huge inspiration to me when I made it, meaning I was seriously not in a chrissy card making state when it needed to be created ;) He, he, he! So she sang me a tune and told me to listen to some chrissy music ;) So I did and here it is: all dressed up in the traditional colours.
So if you need to get stareted with you jolly cards and have no inspi, Faith is what you need ;)

The patterned papers are from Basic Grey, flowers from WOC and golden ribbon from Panduro. As usual she is coloured in di´s on 300g watercolourpaper.

Have to go now, I´m off to a lecture, thank´s for visiting me :)

I´m part of the Anonyme Scrappere team!

Hi cuties!
Oh, I´m so HAPPY today!
I have had a SECRET since this summer and I have been bursting to spill ;)
You´re reading the blog of the newest member of the Anonyme Scrappere team!!  I´m so proud that lovely Anja, blogowner and teamleader, asked me if I want to join them after I had been a guest in july. IF I want to? He,he,he! I didn´t even consider turning this awesome offer down. Count me in!
I cant believe I´m now going to be working alongside some of the most talanted crafters in blogland on one more team :) I´m honored to be one of you and I can´t wait to get to know you all a bit better.

I´m going to be part of team 1 and we have a new challenge for you all today :)
We want to see you create something for a boy/man. Yes, it´s time for you to get your thinking caps on and dazzle us :) Talking about being dazzled check out the amazing card my teamies made here.

I siezed the opportunity to welcome little Arvid into this world. He was actually born about five months ago but for some reason the post office has been "unable" to deliver my packages...they just don´t seem to turn up at my friends house. The first parcel just vanished?? Hm? The second one came back to me again...so I figured I should make a third little gift set and that will be deliverd for sure, right? I mean hard hard can it be? :o

My choice of image is this beautiful baby Tilda from Magnolia. I don´t think she looks to girly if you colour her in these boyish colours?
Patterned papers from one of my favourite brands, Pion. Love them! They have just released their chrissy collection "I väntan på Tomten II" and guess what, I ordered it and can´t wait to get crafty with them :)

Thanks for looking :)

Little darlings challenges: Brown and red

We are back with a new splendid challenge over at Little Darlings today!
And we want to see you create in my personal fav colourcombi for christmas, namely brown and red.
I think you need loads of christmas giftbags around these jolly times so I made the first one for 2011. I have used a fantastically cute image called Every stocking counts and is available at the Love to stamp store now.
I think she is so cute adding that little stocking in the hopes of getting some more goodies ;)

The red roses are from WOC and the brown ones with glitter is from a scrapstore nearby me called Scraproom, so is the pearls on strings. The papers are from Basic Grey and the image has been coloured with di´s on 300g watercolouring papers. The brown bow is from the Maggie store in Borås and the alphabeth stickers is MME.
The snow is made with a snow pen that I bought at Panduro, I added stickles star dust to them.

Please don´t forget to check out the amazing work made by my lovely teamies in the challenge blog.

Thank´s for checking in with me today :)

So now it´s the {PINK}ettes turn :) I have been dying to show you these cuties!
First off is little miss Coraline :) Isn´t she gorgeoues holding that mistletoe? :)
I wanted to place her in a very "frosty" scene so my choice of colour had to be blue. Decided on going for a new tag :) I need loads of those for my christmas gifts.
The patterned paper are from TH and the rose from WOC. Coraline has been inked with distressers on 300 g watercolour paper. The snowflakes are made with a punch from MS. I have added loads of Stickles Star dust to them :) Ribbons are from Panduro.
Do not forget to head straight over to the TPS blog to check out the fab creations from my fellow Pinkettes :)

Deep Ocean challenges #8: Lace

Hi everybody!
Thank you so much for checking in with me today :) I´m so happy to see so many of you are visiting me these days and I´m so thankful towards all of you whom always leaves a little love before you take off. Means so much to me :)

Today I´d like to showcase my very first card with a Kenny K image :) I made it so it´s suits the new awesome challenge we are launching at Deep ocean which is LACE. We would love it if you could come join us :) And don´t forget to take a lookie at the beautiful work my talanted teamies has created here.

I´m so thankful that Whimsy stamps is cooperating with Kenny K to be able to bring us his awesome images in rubber too :)  And I happen to have heard they are also going to do the same with the amazingly cute Wee images by Sylvia Zet in october as well :) YAY!! I´m going to be soooo poor :) Well, I could colour them with my Copics but I never seem to get the hang of the techniques I should use to feel completely satisfied with my colouring :( I´m practising though..;) But still,I´m going to be soooo poor ;) He,he,he! LOL

I thought it was time for me to make another birthday card, I new many of them "in stock" because my beloved friends seem to celebrate bithdays all over the place ;)
The lush papers are from Inkido, and the lace is from the Magnolia store in Borås. The nestie is a lable 10 from Spellbinders. The large rose is from Prima and the others are from WOC. Alphabet stickers from MME. And yes, I added my new fav spellies to this one as well ;) It´s from the banners set :) Wow, I can use them for everything ;) The white shabby chic corneradornment and lock is from Melissa Frances :) The leafs are made with a die from QK. I have also used a edge puncher from MS, called arch lattice.

Hope to see you all soon in YOUR blogs ;)

Magnolia Down under #113: Karen´s sketch

Hi to all of you my dear bloggy friends!
How are you doing?
Today it´s time for new challenge with us ladies over at Magnolia Down Under :) This week we´d love to see your interpretation of Karen´s amazing sketch :) I loved working with it, sweetie, thank you so much

Here´s what it looks like:

I´m so fond of sketch challenges because it´s so amazing to look at how totally diffrent the outcome can be even though we have all been working from the same sketch :)
I decided to go for another chrissy card! I really need to get started with those to get all of them ready in good time :) I have made myself a promise I won´t put it off til the last minute this year.
