Honored to be guesting the Make it crafty blog

Hi there friends and followers!

This is a BIG day for me! I´m so hugely honored to announce that I´m one of the lucky chosen ones that get to guest the Make it crafty store blog! Yay!

Thank you so much for asking me, Tracy Payne, I can't even describe how much joy your beautiful invite gave me.
A HUGE thank you also goes out to the owner of the Make it crafty store, Zoe for the utterly gorgeous materials she sent me! She generously asked me to chose a rubberstamp and oh, my word! I had the hardest time picking one out but this cutie, Aleisha was my final choice and I´m so happy she is now in my stash! She was such a joy to color and I love, love, love her big lushious hair! I´m no way near a coloring expertise and I was sure I was going to work my di´s on her but I had such a craving to use my Copics again I ended up doing just that. I had so much fun!
Aleisha has that young fresh but very girly and romantic look I think and she was perfect for this birthday wish I made for on of my old students, she is going to celebrate her 13th birthday soon. Her favourite colors are pink and peach and I think thats a lovely combination for a card too. Here´s a pic of the card in it´s whole, it´s a traditional easel card:

The dp´s are from My minds eye and the collection is called "Market" - I love those papers so much I hardly wanted to cut into them but this is a moment to celebrate in so many ways so I did it anyway ;) I have almost used them all up now...have to try and get me some new ones!

Copics used

Skin: E0000, E00, E000, E33, RV21

Hair: E77, E59, E49, E25, E13

Bows: R85, R83, R81, RV02

Dress: RV34, RV13, RV11, RV10, RV02

Background: E00, E0000

Last but not least I want to let you all know about the stunning and very veristale chipboard decorations I have used on my card. They are also available at the Make it crafty store. I chose to work with these two sets, swirly corners and love heart swirls. I only applied a layer of di crackle paint Picket fence since I wanted to keep a little more ruff look on them, i think it makes them totally shabby chic. I first tried these when they were given to me as a gift from Kylie and I have been an addict ever since ;) My used all of my absolute favs on here, look at the love one benith and the heart swirl I used on the buttom of the easel.

I´m very happy with this, hopefully the Make it crafty crew and my old student will be too :)
Thank you so much for checking in with me today!
Big hugs xXx

MDUC: Stitching, real or faux

WOHOO!

Already time for me to let you in on what the new challenge at Magnolia Down Under is! Time seriously do fly away...The challenge is....drumroll.......Stitching - real or faux! Not much of a challenge for me though because I do that all the time! ;) LOL! However I could have taken it a step longer and chosen a Tilda image of where she´s sewing (the new ones are stunning! Love them...) but I havent found myself have the time to buy them! :o My God, what a shame! I´m so into shopping, I´m the kind of girly that shops til she drops you know ;) And I have seen all of you, my friends, using cute charms, like scissors and such...would also be perfect but I guess I have to settle for this ;)
At least I might have given you all an idea or two? ;)

I can´t believe little Ella is over 1 month old now! I bet you can imagine I have some thank you cards to make, right? LOL!
This is one of those :) I chose to work with a Tilda from the latest autumn collection. Isn´t she just darling? I love her! She´s my fav from this collection (if you ask me tomorrow it could be another one ;))
I have made a pocket card this time, truly enjoyed that! Lot´s of fun!
However...I did buy a Silhouette Cameo that was delievered to me early july and I just can´t seem to find out how to use it properly! Something always turns out messing it up...But that´s where I got the idea anyways.
I have decided to make a card recipe in the end of every post instead of rambling on and on in the text. I hope you will all think thats better!

So....we are hoping you will join us this week! Do not miss out on heading over to the MDUC blog to check out the WONDERFUL creations my teamies made for you to inspire from!

More beautiful gifts to Ella from around the world ♥

Hi friends and followers!

How are you this evening? I´m hoping you´re doing very well! We certainly are :)
I´d like to take this opportunity to show you the beyond beautiful crafts that Ella has been lucky enough to recieve from my friends all over the world! In this, as the part one post, I have chosen not to show you the stunning gifts that came along with the packages since I´d like to keep them to myself :) But they are all equally lovely! THANK YOU ALL!

From one of my closest friends in all of blogland came this stunning card all the way from England. Thank you my dearest Jane! She also included the beautiful card below that she made for Signe. Signe now keeps it in her room and truly treasures it! She also (!!) made the utterly lovely doorhanger for Ella to keep somewhere in her nursery - lucky girl ha! (picture number 3)

This pink dream was personally delivered by my cute to the boot friend Annette! She leaves nearby and I´m so happy at least one of my friends can cuddle Ella IRL ;) Thank you Annette!

From another one of my closest friends in blogland arrived a package stocked with crafty goodies! My amazing australian friend Kylie came the following four items! My God, you girlies really spoil me to bits :)
Firstly she made the gorgeous baby sleeping sign for Ellas nursery above - I tell you, it´s soooo sweet :) The card below here is also for Ella and the little parcel on the third picture (the one with Tilda and pencils) was for ME! (YAY!) and the beautiful shaped card with a ladybug is for big sister Signe. It´s now placed beside Janes creation in her room :) Thank you so much beautiful!

From another swedish craft buddy came this utterly lush card and it was a total surprise! I´m so happy Linda, aka Pysselbus, wanted to make this stunning card to welcome Ella into the world :) Thank you, min lilla busa!

My beyond sweet MDUC teamie and friend Kathrin from Germany sent us this awesome and incredibly lush giftset of boxes! One for Ella and one matching for Signe. I tell you they are even m ore lush IRL! So was the gifts inside and I´m so very happy and honored to have them in my collection :) Signe keps this one alongside Kylies and Janes gifts so she has a shelf a lot like mine now with inspiration from around the globe!

Last but certainly NOT least is this beautiful, beautiful canvas frame that my gorgeous friend Kat made for Ellas nursery! (My word, her room is going to be filled with lovely crafts! ;)) I treasure this so much because I really ahrdly even knew her when she created this piece of art for us. She had recently become a gdt at MDUC and of course we couldn´t let her go and now she is a teamie of mine! It warms my heart so much that she wanted to take part in my surprise baby shower arranged by MDUC in july although she hardly knew me! Thank you so much Kat (had to borrow a pic from your blog sweetie as I just wasn´t able to photograph it in a way it made the beautiful nuances justice - hope that´s okay!)

Thank you all!
See you in your blogs! xXx

GDT Magnolia Mania #53: Sketch challenge

Welcome dear friends and followers!

Today it´s time for me to tell you all about the new challenge for this fortnight at Magnolia Mania. It´s my second one as their gdt! I still have to pinch my arm every now and then, it´s such an honor! ;)

The challenge is to follow a gorgeous sketch! I loooove a great sketch and this one truly is :) It´s amazing how they can help whilst having a craft breakdown ;) where you just don´t know where to start. And at those times where you don´t want to think at all ;)
Look at it:

Gorgeous ha?

I used a Tilda image from the latest collection called "Autumn leaves". She is inked with di´s on 300 g watercolor paper. I then paired her up with some truly gorgeous papers from Pion Designs "Grandma´s old schoolbook" To cut the shape I used the Large dies from Go Kreate. The flowers are both WOC and Magnolia. The photo corners are made with a die from QK. The heart is made with a die from Magnolia, as is the punk lush lace. Alphabeth stickers from MME. I have sewn and painted all edges with di crackle paint picket fence. The blue button is bought at my local craft store.

Now before you head off I encourage you all to head on over to the challenge blog to check out all the amazing creations made by the dt and the other two gdt - you wouldn´t wanna miss it for the world!

I hope I have inspired you all to join us at Magnolia Mania this fortnight! We´d love to see you there :)
Big hugs, Louise

MDUC: Card and tag

Hi there lovelies!

Time for me to tell you all about our latest challenge over at Magnolia Down Under! This week we would like to see you all make a card AND a matching SEPARATE tag :)

I wanted to make another creation inspired by summer! It really is my fav time of year and that also shows in my work I think. I love it that I can use pastel colors and happy bright decorations :) To tell you a secret I´m not at all into making christmas cards and winter themed cards at all ;) Lucky thing Pauline and other designers always creates such cute images! :)

All the dp´s are also from Magnolia this time. I love them! The strawberry one is so delish I think! On the card there´s a total of three Magnolia stamps. I masked the icecream released years ago with a more recent Tilda. And in the corner I used a sentiment with a matching strawberry also released years ago. I think they were both part of the "Lazy summer days" collection. All images is colored with di´s on 300 g watercolorpaper. The sentiment is stamped with Tea dye, a di color from TH. Love those strawberry charms! Bought them at Whiff of joy about a year ago, unfortunately they´re not in stock anymore. I´m about to run out so I´ll better google them later :o!!
The rolled flowers are from Kort og Godt and the big pink rose is from Prima. The heart tag is also from Magnolia and I have stamped the forth and last Magnolia stamp onto some see through paper, it says "With all my love". The pebbles are from Prima and all of the bling are from a local scrapstore called Pema. Ribbons are all bought at the Magnolia store in Borås. As always the edges are all sewn and painted with di crackle paint Picket fence.

Now I´m so curious to see what you all make of this! Join in, please....;)

I´m always blown away by the beautiful work my teamies make and this week sure is no exception, head on over to the MDUC blog and take a lookie - theyre all amazing!

Big hugs xXx
