Wee...ry cute winterfairy

Hi friends and followers!

Im just in for a quick posting today to share a tag card I made featuring wee stamps cute little winter fairy :)

Its a christmas card and I have given my Copics a try again. Not at all satisfied this time...guess it goes up and down. ;) Just when you think you cracked the code you realize you're just one of those trying to learn. This might sound really weird but what I want to achieve is really a more scandinavian look, resembling my di´s. ;) I bet many of you are thinking, why don't you just stay with those then? I truly love the result Copics brings, they are more "clear" in some way. Hm? Do you know what I mean?
Id really LOVE tips on which colors to buy then. So if you have a tip or two? Bring them on!

The papers are from Pion Design. The sentiment is from Stempelglede. Have to run now! Sorry!

Big hugs!
Thank you so much for checking in with me today!
Lots of love

GDT Magnolia Mania: Bows

Hi my dearest friends and followers!
Its with a little bit of a heavy heart Im writing todays post as its my very last one as a GDT for Magnolia Mania, thank you so much for having me! Its been such an honor and I have loved every minute!

Well back to the actual card then, this time I made a book card and its a birthday gift for one of my very bestest friends in all of blogland, Jane. I added some crafty goodness to the inside before sending it and Im happy to report it was a success ;) The theme of this weeks challenge is to add BOWS to your project. Such an easy one! Pls join us, we would love it!

I'm actually a bit surprised myself of the outcome! ;) I think i have written before about my hate love towards the color red, haven't I? Here i actually ended up using it even though I wasn't obligated too :) Making progress ;) I just adore this Tilda stamp and Im so happy I finally had the time to ink her up. She is inked with di´s on 300 g watercolor papers by Langton. I just tried it for the first time and I absolutely love it! I bought it at Drewex in Malmoe. Its a shop for everything artistic. I later found out its the extra smooth version that is the bestest for card making and unfortunately they don't store that. So I have to keep looking. Hard to find that in a swedish store. :(
I ordered some lush pearls on a string from The ribbon girl and I must say I certainly love it! You will see it at many of my creations from now on ;)
The red roses is WOC and the rolled roses are Kort og Godt. I used some vellum paper and a banner die from Spellbinders and stamped the sentiment on which I then embossed in white. The amazing Love piece of chipboard is from the Make it crafty store, I just added some di crackle paint in white on it.

Now Id like to show you some detail pictures of it all but before I do that Id like to remind you all to join in with us at Magnolia Mania, at least check the blog out because the ladies of the dt has some really awesome creations to show you.

Thank you so much for checking in with me today, it made my day!
See you in your blogs!
Big hugs

MDUC: White on white

Hiya friends and followers!

WHOOT WHOOT! Time for a new challenge with us ladies over at the Magnolia down under tonight! And this week we want to create an all WHITE project :)

Its was a bit of a "real" challenge for me this week, I have only created one other completely white card and Im glad to say this one is at least a bit better looking ;) It was a joy to me to learn we were able to use all white nuances *phew, wiping the sweat of my forehead ;) * I assure you the flowers and bow I added to my card is white,  but they are ivory. I agree, they tend to look awfully yellow in the pictures :o.  I know some of the other girls also thought this one was a bit tough but let me just tell you: their makes are beyond gorgeous! Im so impressed by my lovely teamies :) I encourage you all to take a look here if you need some inspiration :) Talking about teamies we are so delighted to tell you all about our new utterly talented addition, Camilla Hermansson. Welcome to our family Camilla! I doubt the fact she needs an introduction but just in case your something as unusual as a Magnolia lover that hasn't visited her you should now, just click my link and give her a proper welcome. Besides the fact she is an amazing friend and a supertalanted scrapper she's also swedish and I love that! Now we are to swedish girls on the team as well :) YAY!

Enough of my rambling and onto my make..;)
This is a card I made for Signes kindergarten friend Stella, she celebrated her birthday this past weekend and Signe, my oldest daughter, wanted me to make her a birthday card. Luckily we were aloud to use any colors when we inked the image. Stella is just like Signe, a true princess at heart so if you ask them there will be no questions as to which color is the best looking: theres just pink, isn't there? Thats why I decided to go with this lovely Tilda, isn't she the most gorgeous thing? I LOVE her! She's utterly amazing with that cute princess crown and that lush dress. I also had to give her some pink earrings ;) The pearl string around the image is a buy from The ribbon girls. To cute! Another one of my teamies, my dear friend Debbie Dolphin (who Im actually meeting IRL at the Magnolia store in Borås in just a few weeks!!! Aiks, Im so exited ;)) has been using those for ages and Ive been browsing the stores here in Sweden to look for something similar but it just doesn't exist here- yet ;) It will probably be hip here in january ;) Lol! So sorry my dear Sweden, but lets face it, we are hardly ever first to introduce any news in this world ;) I had to buy them and use them Debbie, hope you are not mad ;) Ha, ha, ha!
Heres some more detailed pictures:

Bon Voyage a la France with Edwin

Hi friends and followers!

Id like to showcase a card I made for my mother to give away today. They are invited to celebrate their best friends 60th birthday this weekend. Since his wife is giving him a romantic getaway to Paris my mother thought it would be fun to give him a Paris themed card. I don't own the Eiffel tower stamp  from Magnolia and therefor I wanted to buy it but theres something wrong with the Magnolia webshop so I wasn't able too...:( Browsed the internet for a store that stocks it here in Sweden (I needed it kind of fast ;)) but it was nowhere to be found! :( Im part of a group of girls that gets togheter about once a month to get our creative juices running so I asked them if someone had it but no..however a friend of mine reminded me I could use dies! So I did! That way I could fit both a suitcase and the Eiffel tower on there! YAY! I´m not totally satisfied with the way it turned out though as I had something completely different in mind ;) But this will have to do! I must admit I always find it much harder to create cards for men...:o It just doesn't bring me that same flow and I never really know which colors to use or what to put on there and the always come out looking..well...not quit like something I would do? Or what do you think?

I followed the gorgeous sketch over at Midweek Magnolias. Its always a pure joy to contribute to their challenges, they are a group of fun loving and very talented ladies. Heres what it looks like:

The lushious sketch is made by Becky, thank you! I had so much fun using it :)

I decided to once again dust off this gorgeous little Edwin stamp, I bought it so many years ago but its one of my absolute fav Edwins ;) He is so cute and very festive! He's also very versitale and you gotta love that in a stamp right? He is inked with my di´s on Langton watercoloring paper 300 g.

Thank you so much for checking in with me today!
It brings the biggest smile to my face :)
Big hugs, see you in your blogs ;)

Tilda with a twinkling star!

Hi friends and followers!

Today Id like to showcase another thank you card I made as a gift to somebody ;) who sent Ella a beautiful welcome into the world :)

This "older" Tilda came out for a play - she is so cute, I adore her! And....she is inked with my Copic markers! Im quite satisfied with the results but Id love to hear what all you talented Copic inkers thinks ;) Still don't have the hang of it and I realize I have to try it over and over again before Im truly satisfied.
I made this one just for the fun of it and browsed some challenges I love to join when I have the time on my hands. I decided I wanted to join in with the ubertalanted ladies over at Tildas town where they want us to create something using autumn colors. These are pretty autumn like - at least to me. Its a color combo I have never tried before! ;) Who knew grey,  lilacs and browns would look good togheter? ;) Its my very first time joining in and Im so happy too because Ive been wanting to ever since they got started. The cute ladies in the Sketchy challenge DT provided me with this lush sketch to follow.

Its made by my great friend Kylie :)

Finally over at Simply Magnolia they have an awesome theme running right now - anything goes! You gotta love that! They are all sharing some truly amazing work so go check it out.

I finally got around to using some of the beautiful papers in my Prima paper pad called Fairy Belle. The lilys are from the Magnolia store in Borås and the other roses are by WOC. I added a sentiment by Lily of the valley and some alphabet stickers from Making memories. Cheese cloth underneath Tilda and some di crackle paint on some of the edges for a more shabby chic look. I have also sewn around all edges.

Thank you for checking in with me today!
See you in your blogs!

Free hugs!

Hi friends and followers!

Oh, I´m such a happy girly today! My new Saturated Canary in rubber arrived from my sweet friend and former DT boss the other day. In case you missed out, lovely Angie Hunt has some of the Saturated Canary images for sale in her amazing store, Love to stamp. I´m so happy they are available in rubber to now!

As I have told you before I now have some Thank you cards to create for all of the amazing friends that has sent such cute gifts to us when Ella was born! I´m having so much fun with them, keeping each and every one in mind sure makes them truly personal ;) It takes a bit longer but I would´t have it any other way!

Of course I had to start playing with these awesome girls ASAP and first off is this stunner, her name is Free hugs. I followed the gorgeous sketch over at CLP Challenges, it looks like this for the month of september:

I love to join in! The dt ladies are so talented, they always show off the most inspirational work and one can never play with to many lush sketches me thinks ;) Thanks ladies!

I´d  also like to join in on the current challenge over at the lush challenge blog Wild Orchid Crafts, where they want us all to layer it up - figured I´d join - got some layers here! ;)

As usual I have colored her up with my di´s on 300 g watercolor paper. Of course I had to add some stickles on the image (as always ;)) and the papers are from the Maja Design 6*6 paper pad Vintage Summer. Isn´t it lovely to make a card just for the fun of it sometimes? ;) I mean I have fun creating all of my cards but it´s a special feeling to not have a deadline to manage ;)

I hope you'll love her just as much as I do, thank you so much for checking in with me again today! Three creations in less than one week, thats what I call comeback ;) LOL
Ill see you in your blogs!
Oh, before I head off I have to show you this gorge card of my daughter Ella whom is soon 2 months old - already! There´s really nothing that can compare to the feeling you get when your baby smiles at you :)

Have a nice day!
Love Louise

GDT Magnolia Mania: colorcombi Blue and Brown

Hi friends and followers!

Im here to let you in on the theme of the new lovely challenge over at Magnolia Mania! This fortnight we would love to see you create something Magnolia using the color combo BLUE and BROWN.

Im a bit saddened today as this is my second last posting as a GDT. Next fortnight is my very last posting and I have enjoyed it so much! I really treasure working with my Magnolias so Im extra happy I'm on MDUC forever! ;)  LOL!

I have created a new tag card for this challenge. The lovely papers are by Pion Design and Tilda was released in last years christmas edition. She is totally cute and very versatile - gotta love that in a stamp ha? She is inked with my di´s - as always ;) The beautiful brown ribbon was a gift from my very good friend Jane. Thank you sweetie - I lurve it!
The flowers are WOC, exempt the big deep brown one that is actually Kort og Godt but I bought it years ago so not sure they are still in the market. The sentiment I stamped on the tag is from Stempelglede. I LOVE it so much, I use it all the time.

This is also a thank you card I made for a dear friend whom gave us such a lovely crafty gift for Ella when she was born. :) I´m getting there ;)

Thank you so very much for checking in today! It made my day!
Ill see you in your blogs!
Big hugs!

MDUC: Red, white and silver

Hiya friends and followers!
WOOT WOOT!

Time for a new challenge at Magnolia Down Under tonight and I´m glad to tell you it´s a color challenge! Those are always loads of fun I think! We would have liked to see you upload your Magnolia creations in REDWHITE and SILVER. We want to see all three! If you think that sounds like a P A R T Y it would please us a lot. I get so much inspiration surfing around amongst your creations leaving a little sugar.

I made a center stair step card this time. It´s obviously been a while because I had to search online for a good tutorial ;) Loved making it, it was a lot of fun :) Red is not a color I chose to work with very often. In fact I used to hate it because I didn´t think my coloring was very good when using red but I must admit I feel a bit better about it now, not that my coloring is very much better now ;) it´s a question of usage I think. When you use it at least every once in a while you naturally practise and then it´s bound to feel a bit better too. So practise those "hate" colors ;) I thought this colorcombo was the perfect excuse to make my second christmas card for this year. I need loads so...you´ll see them a little more often from now on.

Pls before you head off let me remind you to pls visit the MDUC blog to see all the wonderful creations made by my lovely teamies :)

Be sure to stop by my blog tomorrow, I have some fun news to share!
Big hugs, Louise xXx
