For a boy at DOC

Hi there all of you amazing crafters!
Im so exited about tonights posting! We have an awesome new fortnightly challenge for you over at Deep Ocean. This one is all about the men / boys and I have been dying to show you what I created.

I have had this cutie Edwin amongst my Maggiestamps for a very long time now without ever having him out for a play...Thats just to bad of me..So here he is!
I decided I would place him in a scene because he would look very lonely otherwise. (Plus I find it challenging to make boys card but don't tell anyone ;) lol He would take  up more space on my card that way. He, he, he! ;))
I ADORE that lovely spring background that was released a couple of years ago. Its all colored with my di´s on The Langton extra smooth paper 300 g.
The patterned paper is just the perfect match don't you think?
I really tried keeping my embellies down but man..thats also a real challenge for me. I could just go on and on adding stuff...;) lol! I added some cheese cloth, a crinkled ribbon. The corner adornments on the image is made with a die from quick cuts. (Is that right? I never use stuff from them?? Hope you know what I mean ;)) The other one in the upper left corner is a chip board from the Make it crafty store.
The cute little stars are from Tim Holtz and I painted them with di crackle paint and added some stickles star dust too.

Before you head off, please do not forget to run over to the DOC blog to look at the gorge creations made by my teamies.

Thank you so much for checking in with me!
Lots of love

Happiness is...

...being allowed to sit by moms sewing machine.
Welcome to my weekly inspirational post for the LLC store blog. This week we have all been playing with the new beyond beautiful Pion Design papers "Alma´s sewing room".

Every once in a while I create an LO and place it on a deep edge canvas frame and I thought I had the perfect match to these papers. On the picture is my oldest daughter Signe, she is five and a half and probably wishes she could go bananas in my craft room a lot more than I allow her to ;) lol!
Her favorite device to work is by far my sewing machine. I took this photo of her some weeks ago and immediately thought of it for this occasion.
Im so sorry about the lousy first picture, Im aware it is very blurry. I have had some camera issues lately. It works just fine when I take more close up pictures like the ones beneath but as I want to capture the whole creation I always struggle. Its like its to much??
I will have to go buy myself a new camera today. After that I will update this post with my new picture.
Sandy has a lot of items in store atm that is what seems to be perfect matches to these papers. I used one of the adorable metal adornments called vintage dress form clips and I love the effect on my photo.

As always I have listed all the products Ive used from the LLC store at the end of this post via Inlinkz.

Thanks so much for checking in with me today :)

Lime and pink at MDUC

Hi friends and followers!
Its Magnolia Down Under challenges time again! WHOOOOOOOT WHOOOOOOOOOT!
And you know every once in a while you come across those challenges that just seem to..challenge you a little more. They take you outside your comfort zone and have your brain working overtime..;) lol!
This one was such a challenge for me.We want to see you create with a colorcombo this week - namely PINK and LIME. To be honest Ive used a green and pink colorcombi a dussin times before but since Im a shabby girly I tend to stay away from those really bright colors. And with lime..there doesnt seem to be a good solution to an escape ;) BUT! I ended up making three cards, this is my third attempt and Im actually pretty happy about the outcome. So watch out, I might use it again ;)

I have been asked a few times about the frame die around Tilda. Its a Memory Box die frame and I absolutely treasure it! I dont think it matters very much that it takes some images out a bit aroud the edges. I think the Tilda is vivible anyways. The papers are way....old. ha, ha, ha!
The one with little prince charming frog is from Magnolia and the lime one is part of a 6*6 paper pad from Prima that was released years ago called Fairy Flora. Sometimes its a good thing to dig into the old stuff ;) The border lace punch is from Martha Stewart and Tilda has been colored with my di´s. I also have to let you in on the amazing corner adornments. They are from Make it crafty and is in chipboard. I love those! I painted them a tad bit with my di crackle paint Picket fence to make them white and simply added a little pearl.

We have had such an amazing time in the DT group about this, we were a couple that struggled a wee bit (I wont mention anybody though ;) lol!) and we have been uploading our cards for feedback all week long. And Im still sooooo proud to be part of this amazing group of AWESOME talants. I was just blown away by the stunning cards my teamies have created. So...without further adue I will encourage you all to hop over to the challenge blog and be astounded! If we havent managed to get you intruiged about this colorcombo then no one can ;) I cant wait to see your interpretations and hop along in your blogs to see what you come up with.

Thanks so much for looking today

Letter B for DOC - a very determine wee summer fairy

Hi friends and followers!
OMG!! This is embarrassing...at times I preschedule my posts a very long time ahead and that´s what happened yesterday and it posted but I hadn't been able to finish my card so I could photograph it in daylight...My post went live with just a topic...He, he, he! It was kind off funny..But here is an update with my finished creation. Head over to the amazing Deep Ocean challenge blog to gasp at the other creations made by my teamies. Do not forget to join us, the challenge this fortnight is letter B (Birthday, blue, bow, ballon...and so on)

This is one of my all time fav extremely cute weefaires illustrated by hugely talented Sylvia Zet. She is...hold on to your horses - inked with my Copics! Yes, you read right! ;) lol!
Still not completely satisfied but one never is anyways ha? So sorry I haven't taken notes about which colors Ive used. Ive been so into inking I didn't think of it for a second. Still new at this ;)
The rose dp is from Magnolia and the checkered one is Pink Paisley that I bought a hundred years ago. I really struggled to match my image to the "right" dp´s this time. I think its because the end result with copics are more spot on and theres more color that Im used to with my di´s plus also I surprised myself and paired the pink with green. My word, that almost never happens ;)
My letter B in this card is the lovely butterflies charm I added to the seam binding. You get a better idea of it in the pictures below:

Now Im afraid to say Im a tad bit nervous now, what do you think of my inking???
Thank you all so much for stopping by!
Lots of love xXx

Bookcard with preggy Tilda for LLC

Good morning friends and followers!
Another week has come and gone and Im happy to let you know we are all doing a bit better now. It was such a relief to be able to go outside after feeling my home was almost a prison ;) lol!
The fact a week has come and gone also means its time for my weekly inspiration post over at the amazing Live and Love crafts blog

We are such an amazing gang of crafters in this DT, I felt immediate at home and I adore all the girlies. There´s been something a little extra going on lately. My Norwegian teammate Elin has challenged us all to make a book card. Pls...you don´t want to miss out on the beyond gorge creations that has been published earlier so hurry on over to take a look. We have all been following the stunningly easy tutorial that can be found in Wenches beautiful blog.

Another one of my lovely friends in blogland is celebrating her birthday this week. Maybe my choice of Tilda might give you a clue to whom Im referring to? YES, you are right! Of course its the utterly talanted and unbelievably cute Camilla. I do hope this little gift arrives in her mailbox before she sees it here ;) lol! By the way, if you scroll down here amongst my pictures to the very last one you can find proof of how much I adore Camillas creations. Its been a while since I saw the most amazing book card in her blog here and Ive been wanting to make a flower heart like that ever since. So cute! Thanks for always being so inspiring Camilla.
Let me tell you...since I joined the LLC team Ive become even more addicted to lovely embellies. I tend to add even more! I didnt think I could but Sandy stocks so many wonderful items in the LLC store I simply cant help my self. Less isnt more I believe - more is more! rofl!
As always you can see the list of items used at the end of my post here. I hope Camilla will treasure this.

Thanks for checking in with me today and pls..I will be back in just a wee while to announce the winner of my easter blog candy :) Stay tuned :)
Hugs

You're so special (MDUC #183)

Good evening world!

Super exited about todays post :) Im showcasing my dt card for the new challenge with us ladies at Magnolia Down Under. The theme is utterly LOVEly and perfect for the upcoming special day that is Valentines. The theme is "Love is all around us".
Just add some hearts and other romantic stuffy stuff and you're ready to go! ;)

This card is not for my valentine ;) I think hubster would have appreciated something more male like.. besides that let me tell you something...I have made Johan so many cards and I always tend to struggle a tad bit with male cards too so Im putting my heart and soul in to them and still...he just says thanks and then it ends up in some box or something around the house so I have kind of decided to stop making cards for him. Its much more fun to make cards for someone whom really treasures them ;)
However Im secretly hoping he will have something planned for just the two of us. Ella is on her way to seven months now and can be babysitted for some hours without us. Im crossing my fingers for a visit at a romantic restaurant or something. He better....;) rofl! ;) I cant wait to spend some time on my own with him. Just the thought of being able to finish my sentences would be so great! :)

This little cutie patootie Tilda was part of the latest release and I must say I loved the whole collection! Pauline really outdid her self! And have you seen the new cuties for easter? I bet you haven't missed my candy?? Im giving away two beautiful Tilda's together with something a little handmade by me as Im celebrating the fact you guys are so amazing. I have over 500 followers now! I could never have dreamed that I would one day!
You can read all about it here. Welcome to join in. I will be announcing the winner sometime tomorrow so be sure to check back then. Thanks for all your wonderful support!

Here´s what Tilda looks like in my close up:

She is colored with my beloved di´s - as always. Ive added loads of stickles star dust to her clothes and the heart. The sentiment is also a Magnolia, the same goes for the beyond gorge papers and the beautiful blue lilies and white tulips. You can see them better in the photo beneath:

This die is one of my absolute favs and I seriously don't think I could ever live without it! ;) Its so amazing!

Thank you so much for visiting with me today!
Be sure to check back tomorrow for the easter winners AND my weekly inspirational post for LLC.
Big hugs xXx
