Pirate Tilda three years later (For LLC)

Good morning friends and followers!

Boy have we had loads of fun this week in the Live and Love Crafts blog! As you all know by now us in the dt shows you different takes on one theme throughout one week. This week our amazing design team leader and store owner Sandy challenged us to show you all some of our first works and then bring them to life again as we would do them now. Let me tell you, when she first wrote about it I was a wee bit scared. Since I started out in 2009 Ive exchanged computers a couple of times and Im so not the best at saving my photos. Well, obviously I save the ones with the kids ;) but otherwise not so much. I was very relieved when I saw this one with pirate Tilda. I created it in 2010 for my best friends daughter Ebba as she turned three. It my very first make using di´s as a medium and even I can see the difference between the two ;) This is the only photo Ive saved since then so lucky me! ;)

I have been eagerly stalking my postie this week because I knew my Vintage spring Maja Design paper pad was on its way from Live and Love Crafts store. And I was ecstatic to receive them prior to the easter holidays - that way I can enjoy them extra much! ;) lol! So no surprise I used dp´s from the pad. And let me tell you I utterly LOVE them! - ALL! Im so going to use every last one :) Of course I used the same Magnolia image and can you see the LOVELY splashes and bits around her?? I ordered myself some Frantage embossing powder in shabby white to see what all the fuss was about and let me tell you! Im sooooo using that again! I know Sandy has ordered some more colors too and Im going to buy them all. Don't miss out, I have a feeling the will sell pretty fast! For those of you that Im lucky enough to have as followers you all know that I always add the Picket fence di crackle paint. As I browsed the LLC shop the other day I noticed Sandy stocks it in Tattered rose too so of course I had to try it...and no surprise there either - I LOVE IT! ;) For more info about what Ive added to this card check the end of my posting where I have a gallery via Inlinkz. That way its very easy for you to simply click the picture and it will take you right to the very product in the LLC store.

Now, before I head off I want to remind you to look at the amazing creations made by my teamies in the LLC blog. They all create the most stunning things and I have had loads of fun looking at how their own personal styles has evolved throughout the years.

Thanks for checking in with me today!
Lots of love

Fussy and fancy at LLC

Hello there everybody!

Its finally sunday again and that means Im hosting todays posting over at the Live and love crafts blog - yay! Our theme this week is Fussy and fancy and if theres any card you can make however fancy and fussy you want its a wedding themed one ha? I never have trouble adding details, however to stop at the right time can be a bit challenging. After all you are supposed to see the image ;) lol!

I received a lovely quest from a lady this week that asked if I wanted to make her daughter a wedding card. Now theres something to think about? NOT! he, he, he!
As her daughter gets married during the easter holidays coming up she wanted some easter stuff on there and bits and pieces of yellow. I added some cute daffodils and used a dp from Pion design called Newly hatched. White is otherwise the color I immediately think of when hearing the word wedding so I also decided to add loads of white details.
I used two of the new gorge laces that Sandy only recently added to her stock. You can find them in the LLC store amongst so many other amazing details. If you want to you can browse til the end of my posting to the inlinkz gallery where you just click the pic and it will take you right there. The one with hearts alongside my image is called "Amour". Isn't it just beautiful??
I hope she will treasure this for her daughter. I sure enjoyed making it.

With this little miss - easter greetings at MDUC

Good evening (or good morning to my aussie friends ;))

WHOOOOOT WHOOOOOOOT!!
Time for another challenge with us at Magnolia Down Under and this week, very suitable our challenge is EASTER GREETINGS.

I chose to work with my all time fav Magnolia easter stamp again. Isn't she just adorable? Its one of those I know for sure I will use again and again ;)
She was planned to be dressed in green to match the beyond lush dp´s also from Magnolia but then I saw my teamie Debbie's card in the pre post and my lord...well, lets put it like this. Her card is like...amazing and then some and she used the same stamp and colored her green so I thought I would not since theres like no chance in hell I can play in the same division ;) lol!
There are some beautiful pink flowers on the dp as well so I chose to color her in pink nuances and poor Tilda was colored in my couch in the evening with obviously just a tinch of light and she got a tan. There was no time for me to do it all over again so come on, lets pretend! She literarily just got of the plane for the Canary Islands ;) he, he, he! I will never try that again ;) I like living on the edge though ;)

So in spite of Tildas "lovely" tan I hope I have inspired you to join us. We would love it if you could! We are so thankful each week to see so many entries and they are all awesome, I love to hop around to get to know you all.

I also thought I would mention that I appreciate all of the lovely emails and messages asking me how my girlies are doing. Thats just so cute!
They are improving but sadly they did spread it, so now I have a cold. But better me than any of them..
Bring on spring!  Im soooo more than ready...

Inspired by a picture at LLC and midway reminder at CLP

Good morning friends and followers!

Today Im actually a bit ashamed...a while ago I received the most amazing email! Be calm, thats so not why Im blushing right now..Anyways, it was from a beloved and much admired friend namely Chelsea. Im sure you already know about her - her style is through the roof beautiful and vintage and shabby and all the things I love :) She is also the owner of the most awesome sketch challenge blog there is, CLP challenges. I have always done my very best to enter each month because the sketches only are so lush and inspirational and lets face it. We all get stuck sometimes and theres nothing better to help but a great sketch! Therefore I was ecstatic when reading her email, she wanted to add me to her design team and let me tell you I didn't even have to consider that two seconds! Its a YES!
She already had a great dt but as some of them decided it was time to move on not only me but a lot of my most treasured friends in blogland got the same invite. Im so proud to be working alongside these gorge ladies. But then it happened..I chose to be on the reminder post midmonth and that was this friday right? OMG!! My poor little ladies had been ill again and I totally couldnt contribute in time so thats what Im ashamed of. My very first CLP post and I miss out!! Can you believe it! Well, yesterday hubby was at home to and took the little ladies so I could get down and crafty! I decided on making my first CLP card but since its luckily sunday its also my turn to host the gorge LLC blog and I did a combo this time.

Over at LLC we have been busy with interpreting an inspirational picture this week. As always I want to remind you to also look at the adorable creations my teamies has done too while you're there. Its amazing how many ways there is to interpret a picture.
The picture is courtesy of a swedish interior design shop called Ljuva hem, in Nödinge, Sweden. Adorable ha? Right up my alley ;)

It was so easy to sit and create, I had that flow again. Sandra really is so generous and she stocks like..everything i want! The only hard part is to decide on what to use because she now stocks even more gorge embellies! I used some of them on my card. You can see them listed at the bottom of my post but just to mention some, check out that amazing gingham ribbon (sigh..gorge!) and the big lush lace. Not to mention the flower spray! Sooooo my new addiction! Image is Magnolia Tilda and I colored her with my di´s on 300 g watercolor paper.

And since its a combo I followed this luscious sketch at CLP, we would love it if you could come join us! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ASKING ME Chelsea, its a huge honor and I promise: next time I wont be late! Check out the pics below for more of my creation up closer:

Thank you all so much lovelies for checking in with me!
It means so much!
Lots of love,

Excuse boys...you're in my gym space

Hi there friends and followers!
Its sunday and little lucky me is hosting the Live and love crafts blog today :)
This week we have celebrated woman around the world and as soon as I heard of this weeks theme I knew I wanted to be pretty literal about it ;)

I had the perfect digi stamp in mind and she's from Saturated Canary. Pretty strong ha? I also fell like a rock for the cool sentiment that comes along with the image. It says: "Excuse me boys, you're in my gym space" Gotta love that!
(Actually its something I wish I could have said but...Im never at the gym..soooo...that ship kind of sailed...I don't see myself going anytime soon either! ;))
Im still loving those Alma papers from Pion Design and I used two lush sheets here. The charm is named "Kings crown" and I thought it would go great with this little spunky lady. (all items will be found listed at the end of this post via Inlinkz.com)
I used some of the awesome shabby seam binding and colored it in with my di ink pad, weathered wood to achieve that dim blue nuance. Heres some close ups, Im hoping you will like this!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MDUC!

Hi lovelies!
Today is a very special day indeed! Its MDUC time again BUT we are in a celebrating mood since we are turning 4!! YAY! YAY! Congrats to us!

We would seriously be nothing to talk about if it wasn't for all of you whom enters and are following us. THANK YOU so much for sticking by us, we really appreciate it. Love is coming your way!
So in honor of MDUC we have all created some pretty stunning birthday themed projects. Hurry on over to the challenge blog to take a look at all of them.

I decided to do a card with two little Tilda's again. Im pretty fond of that and have made a couple already. Ive also stepped out of my comfort zone pretty big on this one...can you see one Tilda has got red hair? My word, I don't know if I fancy it yet? Ive never colored red hair with di´s either so I can see I still need practice ;) Otherwise Ive also used a couple of different other Magnolia products on here, namely all the dp´s, the sentiment and the heart die.
Before I leave you Id like to share some more close ups:

Thank you so much for checking in with me today!

You are a pearl for LLC

Good morning and WELCOME!
Today is sunday already and that means its my turn to host the lovely Live and Love Crafts blog. Our weekly theme is PEARLS. If you haven't looked at the beyond gorge creations made by my teamies throughout the week I really think you should. As always theres a little bit for everybody. Magnolia, vintage and shabby chic all rolled up into one amazing week of posts. A little reminder also about our monthly challenge for march, a nice, easy one - its Easter. We would love it if yo joined in!

Back to my card. I have actually used Violets times two on here. The image is a lovely Saturated Canary named Vintage Violet and I inked her with my Copics this time. The papers are soooo scrummy and of course they are Pion Design called Violet.
The alphabet stickers says "You are a pearl" in swedish and I don't think you say that in english, right? Well, its almost the same as your: "You are a gem"
To apply for a dt assignment with Live and love crafts store and Sandy sure is the best choice I made in my life craft wise - man, she stores some AMAZING decos! ;) lol! Its so easy to make cards now. The Poppies I have applied amongst the flowers are so stunning and has quickly become a fav flower. Sandy stocks them in amazing colors such as white, pink, lilac and teal.  I have a better close up of the flowers beneath.
You will find the links to all the beautiful decos Ive used on my creation at the bottom of this posting.

Look at those beyond lush poppies on top!
